Our latest publication in the ACS Biomaterials Science and Engineering Journal introduces a minimally absorbing thermoplastic chip with an integrated electrospun membrane.
The µOrganoLab led by Peter Loskill exists since 2016 and was funded by Fraunhofer Attract, the excellence stipend program of the Fraunhofer Society. The lab brings together basic and translational research and spans two institutions, the University of Tübingen and the Fraunhofer IGB, Stuttgart. The µOrgano Lab members come from different nations and disciplines and are working closely together to develop Organ-on-Chip systems as well as enabling technologies and to utilize those to better understand human biology. The Loskill-Lab is characterized by its diversity, interdisciplinary nature, and collaborative spirit. With ambition and creativity, we are continuously developing and implementing new ideas.
New project funded by Wellcome Leap. The µOrgano Lab was selected as "performers" for the "Human Organs, Physiology, and Engineering" (HOPE)-Program (https://wellcomeleap.org/hope/).
